Leh....

... was awesome... saw mountains n moutains n moutains for 10 days... initially felt is it over hyped... specially when I saw 2000 vehicles moving towards Rohtang pass... but the beauty is after rohtang pass...

trip was Delhi -> Manali -> Rohtang Pass -> Jispa -> Tsokar -> TsoMiriri -> Leh -> Pangong -> Nubra Valley -> Sand Dunes  and one day for river rafting...

Was without a mobile connection for 8 days... That was the first time after 7 years... Got to use the STD PCO booth after a long long time...

My personal fav's...
1. Sitting by the Indus River near sand dunes... Just the five of us... Tooo good.. Collected nice colorful stones...
2. Wild horses on more plains....
3. Pangong lake.. all blue and beautiful... Minus the irritating people around....
4. Snow fall...
5. Awesome maggi in a stone made tent....  I dont even know the name of that place
6. Tent in Sand dunes :) :)
7. River rafting..... :) :) :) amazing.....

The scariest stay was in Tso Kar... I thought i'll die of cold.... The slight traffic jam near khardungla scared me a little bit caz I was feeling breathless...

Kanishka was around giving gyan about how these places looked 5 yrs back.. was amazed that he knew directions on that lonely land even after 5 yrs... We had a map.. But I guess only he understood wat was in that map.. Prav n Me were not able to locate Manali on that map :P

Shravan was fun... Kept us entertained with old songs... Food was below average at some places.. but the josh with which Shravan ate, inspired me to eat :P

D was being a father by checking if Prav n me are ok... he would also do gyan transfer ( i assume from Kanishka) about drinking lotsa water... not exerting... before I ran or jumped.. I would look around if D was watching... else we would get free gyan from him :P

Prav like always was the best company to have.. she also behaved like mother at times :P with "wear your gloves" "wear your toppi".... but im sure this trip would not have been half as interesting if she was not around...

Like a ghost traveling with us... Seema and her reaction to these places was our fav topic of discussion :)
